Doctor Visits & Birthdays

June 1st Logan had his 2 month check-up. He weighs 12 lbs 8 ozs which is in the 65%tile, and is 24 inches long, which is in the 85%tile. They measured his head and its 15.5 inches, which puts him in the 35%tile for head size. He actually has a small head like his mama!! Logan got his first 3 shots, and he was a real trooper. I didn’t even see the first one, the second he screamed and the third is when he cried. Once I rocked him and we were on the move he feel right to sleep. The doctor did take a look at his hydrocile but didn’t like how in now has some discoloration, so she sent us over for an ultrasound to check things out further. Once again Logan was a champ!! He just laid there and sucked on his hand. Dr. Welch called us when it was done to say that thinks look good, but she’d still like to have a second opinion. So we have an appointment with a pediatric surgeon at the end of the month. Hopefully things will be better by then and he won’t have to have surgery. Let’s all cross our fingers!!
The 5th of June we spent time with family. The Morgan’s took me out for Lunch. We went to Wingers were they spoiled me by holding and watching Logan while I ate and played with Hunter. Somehow we persuaded Hunter that I was turning 12!! Oh how I love him!! They sang to me at the restraint, short & sweet, and Hunter and I ate some asphalt pie, yum! After lunch we went over to my parents, were they were watching Robby & Parker while Danielle was out for her birthday. When she came to pick up the boys the Morgan’s came over too and we had ice cream cake for her.
The 6th was my birthday!! We had decided to have a BBQ at my parents, so the family joined us. Logan again spoiled his mama, with the help of Papa. He got me a nice card and a soup set.  Also Thanks to everyone else for the great gifts. Logan had a great day and was also spoiled by everyone there!
Yesterday we had a very relaxing day! Started the morning off by sleeping in, but even nicer was Logan slept 7½ hours!! He drank down his bottle and slept another 3 hours!! What a FANTASTIC way to start the weekend!! We did a little yard saleing in the morning, got him some books and a stuffed gorilla. At 2pm my friend Corrie came over for a visit. This was the first time she got to meet Logan too. We got to catch on life and it was really great to see her!!
