The Surgeon’s Visit

Ashleigh stayed at my parent’s house for a couple of nights so that she could spend some time with us and of course Logan. On Tuesday Logan had his appointment with a pediatric surgeon for his hyrdrocele. Ashleigh & mom went with us, and it was really great to have them there for the extra support & help with questions and explanations. They did their normal check up, and Logan weighted 13 lbs 13 ozs! The doctor was really a really nice lady and was great about explaining everything to us. Basically everything looks good for now. I just need to watch it to see if it gets bigger or if it doesn’t go away by the time he’s one then to come back and that’s when they will consider surgery. She also said that it’s normal for it take a few months to go away and that at his age he will be fine. It was great to hear that it’s nothing to really worry about at this point.
